Cynthia Fetzer, DVM – Owner
Cynthia is the owner of Camden Pet Hospital. She graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota in 1988, completed a surgical internship at South Shore Veterinary Associates in Boston, Massachusetts, and started at Camden as an employee in 1989. She then worked at the Animal Emergency Clinic in St. Paul for 3 years before becoming the owner of Camden in 1994. Her interests are dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, ferrets, and chickens. Connecting with people and their pets is a privilege and what makes her day! Her home is shared with 2 cats, rats, and 3 children. Her yard is shared with 14 chickens and a sassy goat!
Cynthia Liu, DVM
Cynthia joined the Camden family in November 2015. She graduated from Saint Georges University in 2009 and completed her clinical rotations at The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was five years old and enjoys helping clients take care of their pets like family members. Dr. Liu loves seeing cats, dogs, as well as rabbits and some pocket pets. In her spare time, She enjoys being active, running marathons, doing yoga, hiking, spending time with friends.
Judy Lapham, DVM
Judy has been on staff at Camden Pet Hospital since January 2007. She graduated from The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 and has worked as a small animal Veterinarian since then, concentrating on dogs and cats. She enjoys the interaction between herself, clients, and their pets, listening and learning about each pet she sees in order to help owners and their pets enjoy long, healthy and happy relationships. Also, as surgery has always been an interest for Dr. Lapham, she enjoys having the opportunity to perform surgery each week at Camden. Dr. Lapham has 2 young daughters who, with the help of her husband, keep her life fully occupied outside of Veterinary Medicine. Any spare time is spent reading, seeing movies, visiting with friends, and traveling. Besides her human family, she shares her home with 2 cats, 2 dogs (a collie and a miniature poodle), 1 guinea pig, and lots of fur.
Kelsey Johnson, DVM
Kelsey has been on staff at Camden Pet Hospital since June 2013. She graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Dr. Johnson is excited to see dogs, cats, and birds. She feels especially fulfilled when she can make a personal connection with a client and their pet, and makes it her mission to work with clients to give their pets long and happy lives. During her free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys camping and fishing with her husband, cheering on the MN Vikings, reading, cooking and baking, and cuddling with her three cats, Ivy, Calvin, and Remington.

Gianna, CVT – Practice Manager
Gianna graduated from Minnesota School of Business with a degree in Veterinary Technology in December 2008. She first became interested in the Veterinary field while serving in the Marine Corps after getting her second dog, Milo. Milo was so nervous and scared when he first came to live with Gianna and her husband that she wanted to make a difference, and she set her mind on becoming a Veterinary Technician. Gianna has been a member of our team since February 2009 and thoroughly enjoys working with various kinds of animals. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Matthew, their 2 dogs; P.J. and Milo, and 4 cats; Tom, Lion-O, Butler, and Wimpy.
Katy, CVT – Lead Technician
Katy graduated from Minnesota School of Business/Globe University with a degree in Veterinary Technology in December 2010. She has been working at Camden since May 2012. Katy knew from a young age that she wanted to work with animals and people, and being a vet tech she gets the best of both worlds! Katy enjoys every part of her job but has a special interest in surgery and anesthesia. When Katy is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband Brandon and their dog Bella, a miniature longhair dachshund, and their cat Chevy.
Jenna graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2010. She then graduated from Argosy University in 2013 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been an animal lover all of her life which is why she has such a big furry family. She has two German shepherd’s named Dax and Henley, two cats named Nala and Oliver and two guinea pigs named Jameson and Phoebe. When she isn’t working at the clinic, she enjoys working weekends as a bartender. In her free time she enjoys taking care of her pets, water sports, snowboarding, spending time with family and friends and watching reality TV shows. She has a special interest in microbiology and hopes to gain more experience within that field here at Camden Pet Hospital.
Kate joined our team in May of 2015 as an intern. She completed her degree from Argosy University as a Veterinary Technician and has been working full time at Camden ever since. Kate has loved animals all of her life, but holds a special place in her heart for kitties. Kate and her husband Nick recently bought a house in St. Paul where they live with there 3 cats named Molly, Perkins, and Sookie. They are excited to expand there fur family in the near future. In Kate’s free time she enjoys going to concerts, cooking, and lazy Sundays with her family. She is very excited to be a part of the Camden team and is eager to learn and grow in her new career.
Heather has a true passion for all kinds of animals and loves being able to make a difference in the lives of fellow pet owners. Heather graduated with Honors from Lake Superior College in Duluth, Minnesota Class of 2009. She has an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences Degree as well as a Child Development and Psychology Degree. Heather was a preschool teacher of 2-5 year olds for about four years before she came to work at Camden Pet Hospital. While she loved teaching and caring for “her kids”, she equally loves all of the “fur-babies” that she gets to know at Camden! Heather started working at Camden Pet Hospital July of 2015 and looks forward to many loving years helping care for all the animals that come to the clinic. Heather is a very festive person that loves to celebrate all life has to offer and lives by the motto, “Never underestimate all the good a simple smile can accomplish.” Outside of work Heather enjoys spending time with her husband Jamie and their dog Copper, a handsome Pit Bull/Labrador/Love-Bug mixed breed. As a family they enjoy frequent camping trips, drive-in movies, cooking, and spending time with friends. Heather also volunteers for several animal rescues and is a positive breed advocate for Pit Bulls/Pit Bull mixed breeds.
Megan graduated from Bradley University in 2011. Megan joined Camden Pet Hospital in February 2015, prior to that lived and worked in central Illinois. She has 8 years of experience in customer service and sales. Megan is passionate about animals and loves that she gets to serve people and their pets every day. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Brandon, and two energetic dogs, Apollo and Aussie. She also enjoys being outdoors and trying new activities.
Molly studied biology at Macalester College and graduated in the spring of 2012. She loves spending time with animals and has worked as a kennel assistant at Camden Pet Hospital since July of 2012. She just finished her first year of veterinary school at The University of Minnesota. In her free time, Molly likes to read, go to movies, and spend time with friends and family.
Katelyn graduated from Brooklyn Center High School in 2010 and is planning to go back to school in the very near future to become a Veterinarian. She started working at Camden Pet Hospital in July, 2011. In her free time she enjoys freelance writing/copy editing, horseback riding, being with her friends and family and caring for her pets; Sophie, her Pitbull mix, Cosmo the cat, Mariska the Holland Lop, and her rats Penny and Luna.
Kayla studies animal science at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and is on track to graduate in the fall of 2016. She has worked as an assistant at Camden Pet Hospital since January of 2015. She hopes to attend veterinary school in the near future to fulfill her dream of becoming a veterinary pathologist. In her free time, Kayla enjoys discovering new music, spending time with her friends and family, and participating in Pitbull advocacy.
