Cynthia Fetzer, DVM – Owner
Cynthia is the owner of Camden Pet Hospital. She graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota in 1988, completed a surgical internship at South Shore Veterinary Associates in Boston, Massachusetts, and started at Camden as an employee in 1989. She then worked at the Animal Emergency Clinic in St. Paul for 3 years before becoming the owner of Camden in 1994. Her interests are dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, ferrets, and chickens. Connecting with people and their pets is a privilege and what makes her day! Her home is shared with 2 cats, rats, and 3 children. Her yard is shared with 14 chickens and a sassy goat!
Anastasia Johns, DVM
Anastasia joined Camden Pet Hospital in 2018. She attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Arts in Music, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. She is grateful to be part of the compassionate and progressive team at Camden Pet Hospital. Dr. Johns’ professional interests include surgery, internal medicine, and preventive care. Dr. Johns enjoys general practice for the variety of medicine it offers and the ability to provide lifelong care to furry family members. Dr. Johns and her husband share their home with their golden retrievers Briar and Jordy and their cat Joule. In her spare time she enjoys working on her 100-year-old house, taking the dogs to the lake, and cooking.
Judy Lapham, DVM
Judy has been on staff at Camden Pet Hospital since January 2007. She graduated from The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 and has worked as a small animal veterinarian since then, concentrating on dogs and cats. She enjoys the interaction between herself, clients, and their pets, listening and learning about each pet she sees in order to help people and their pets enjoy long, healthy, and happy relationships. Dr. Lapham has two daughters who, with the help of her husband, keep her life fully occupied outside of veterinary medicine. Any spare time is spent reading, seeing movies, visiting with friends, and traveling. Besides her human family, she shares her home with two cats, three dogs (a collie, a cockapoo and a Maltese mix), two guinea pigs, and lots of fur.
Sally Prins, DVM
Sally joined the team at Camden Pet Hospital in August 2017. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from St. Catherine University in 2008 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2013. Following graduation, she was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Army and was stationed in Texas, Georgia and Illinois until 2017. While on active duty, she provided medical and surgical care for Military Working Dogs and service member’s personal pets and also performed sanitary audits of food production facilities. Her special interests include Behavior and Dentistry. In her time off, Dr. Prins enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. They enjoy going for walks along Mississippi River Boulevard and exploring new restaurants. Dr. Prins has one furry family member, Nora, who has been a constant companion to Dr. Prins since she started veterinary school!

Katy, CVT – Lead Technician
Katy graduated from Minnesota School of Business/Globe University with a degree in Veterinary Technology in December 2010. She has been working at Camden since May 2012. Katy knew from a young age that she wanted to work with animals and people, and being a vet tech she gets the best of both worlds! Katy enjoys every part of her job but has a special interest in surgery and anesthesia. When Katy is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband Brandon and their dog Bella, a miniature longhair dachshund, and their cat Chevy.
Jenna graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2010. She then graduated from Argosy University in 2013 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been an animal lover all of her life which is why she has such a big furry family. She has two German shepherd’s named Dax and Henley, two cats named Nala and Oliver and two guinea pigs named Jameson and Phoebe. When she isn’t working at the clinic, she enjoys working weekends as a bartender. In her free time she enjoys taking care of her pets, water sports, snowboarding, spending time with family and friends and watching reality TV shows. She has a special interest in microbiology and hopes to gain more experience within that field here at Camden Pet Hospital.
Julia joined the Camden team in January of 2019. She graduated from Ridgewater College in 2014, and worked as a CVT for a wildlife rehabilitation center for 4 years. Her passion is rabbits and everything little. Julia really loves talking with clients and making a strong connection with them as well as their pets. She has her own rabbit Griffin, and an Australian shepherd named Jasper. Julia’s other hobbies include gardening, video games, and playing board games with her husband Joe.
Laurie has been an animal lover her entire life. She has spent most of her career in the veterinary field, specializing in shelter management as well as emergency triage. She was a client here for over 13 years and loved the Camden team so much that she finally wised up and decided to join in June 2018! Laurie loves every part of the veterinary field, but has a particular interest in exploring and enhancing the human-animal bond. She loves French bulldogs, and she and her husband Seth have a frenchie mix named Mabel and a cat named Magenta. When she is not at work from work, Laurie is a self-described geek who loves tabletop board games, video games, and science fiction. She also enjoys performing at local comedy shows and spending time with friends and family in Wisconsin.
