Exotics Are Our Specialty!
Dr. Tracy Swanson, our resident exotic veterinarian, is highly qualified to take care of your exotic pets' well-being. Not only did she complete veterinary school at the University of Missouri, but she has also spent completed a rotating small animal medicine internship and a specialty internship in companion exotic animals.
Most recently, she completed a second specialty internship in raptor rehabilitation at The Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota, where she rehabilitated injured native birds of prey throughout Minnesota. She is passionate about well-rounded veterinary care that focuses on the medical, nutritional, and husbandry-related aspects of animal health, with a primary focus on non-traditional pets such as birds, rabbits, small mammals, and reptiles.
Our owner and veterinarian, Dr. Anna Ruelle, is also well-versed in preventative medicine and diagnostic services for exotic pets.
